So it’s been nearly a month since we (Emmma the impresaria, manager, sound tech, driver and so much more plus yours truly) came back from this round through Switzerland and Germany and due to computer chaos… well ok my proverbial laziness i’m just reporting it now.

A not-so-trad piece
This is a track I somehow completely forgot about after having recorded it back in 2014. How far can you get from tradition in banjo music? Well have some distortion, tons of delay, more reverb and a scratchy wha in the mix and there you go… Unfortunately unplayable live (to this point) due to rampant feedback issues.

Here are three songs ol’ Vushkans recorded during a kind of residency last december (2016). Direct ambient stereo recording of the sound coming out of the PA, with an extra touch of reverb due to the 30 meter length of the room, then barely processed. Consider these as demo songs.
